In this workshop we will introduce participants to the basics of Design Thinking with a focus on one key takeaway: How truly understanding your own organization’s target audience can spark innovation.
Part 1: Introduction to Design Thinking
Get an introduction to the 5 stages of Design Thinking—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—and how they work together to foster innovation. We’ll touch on how this process has been successfully used in economic development and place branding to address real-world challenges, like crafting more compelling value propositions for investors or reimagining destination identities.
